Join Amazon as a Global Logistics Financial Automation Specialist focused on supporting global logistics financial automation projects and driving end-to-end automation of financial processes. You will collaborate with product teams and automation users to identify opportunities, standardize processes, and ensure data-integrated controllership across systems. You will optimize workflows across accounting, controllership, and business finance partners and develop KPIs to measure the impact of automation and process improvements. This role aims to minimize resource requirements and improve efficiency in Amazon's financial operations.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Global Logistics Financial Automation Specialist. In this role, you will support global logistics financial automation projects and drive initiatives aimed at financial end-to-end flow automation. Your efforts will be pivotal in minimizing resource requirements and enhancing efficiency across our financial operations.

Key job responsibilities
1) Support Global Logistics Financial Initiatives in various tech systems and perform controllership on data integration.

2) Collaborate closely with product and financial automation users to identify opportunities for automation, ensuring that systems are aligned with operational needs and best practices.

3)Focus on standardizing financial processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the organization.

4) Optimize the workflow and analyze existing workflows involving accounting, controllership, and business finance partners to identify areas for improvement. Propose and implement strategies to streamline these processes.

5)Performance Metrics, develop and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of automation efforts and process optimizations.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
- 1+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
