Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Partnering: Serve as the primary finance liaison for the PXT leadership team
- Analytical Excellence: Design and maintain sophisticated metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive critical business decisions
- Forecasting and Planning: Lead quarterly estimates and comprehensive annual operating plan development
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional finance teams
- Decision Support: Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analyses and communicate key financial drivers

A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of financial analysis, strategic planning, and collaborative problem-solving. You'll dive deep into financial models, craft compelling presentations, and engage with leadership across different organizational levels. Expect to move seamlessly between detailed spreadsheet work and high-level strategic discussions that impact Amazon's global talent ecosystem.

About the team
Our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team operates at the heart of Amazon's People Experience and Technology organization. We're a collaborative, data-driven group committed to providing strategic financial insights that enable informed decision-making. Our work directly influences how Amazon attracts, develops, and supports its global workforce.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
