Identifies the source of truth for each data domain and collaborates with data management to develop and document data models and relationships. Designs information architectures and complex data models aligned with enterprise strategy, ensuring consistency with data architecture standards and stakeholder requirements. Leads data modeling and database design with expert-level knowledge to sustain the application architecture and ensure the integrity and interoperability of data across solutions.

Ensuring the completeness (fitness-for-purpose) of the architecture, in terms of adequately addressing all the pertinent concerns of its stakeholders; and the integrity of the architecture, in terms of connecting all the various views to each other, satisfactorily reconciling the conflicting concerns of different stakeholders, and showing the trade-offs made in so doing. The Data architect is a subset of Enterprise Architecture. It’s the discipline that guides data modelers in solution delivery teams for modeling standards and best practices and application design, describes scenario and drive consensus with the sponsor for a proposed solution, works with other architects, end users and IT to ensure that new and existing data databases are consistent with data architecture standard. Qualifications: Typically require a tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or related field Minimum of 5-7 years of proven data architecture experience, preferably in the financial services industry Have industry wide certification in one or more database technology Have industry wide certification in one or more Big Data environment such as Hadoop, NoSQL, BigTable, HDFS, HBase and large data sets and related technologies MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Flume, Sqoop Fluent spoken and written English & Thai skill Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security.
