Senior Associate, Data Quality will join BNY Mellon's Wealth Data team in Lake Mary, FL, focusing on ensuring data quality and governance across inbound and outbound data files. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Data Quality to join our Wealth Data team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Analyze, reconcile, and troubleshoot inbound and outbound data files; monitor data quality metrics and drive timely remediation for client and provider issues.
  • Lead coordination across multiple data providers for file migrations, onboarding/offboarding, and format changes, including plans, milestones, and risk controls.
  • Conduct gap and root‑cause analyses for missing, delayed, or inaccurate data; track issues through closure using enterprise CRM system and manage provider SLAs with clear escalation and impact documentation.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks, dashboards, and issue registers to improve data controls, transparency, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the exploration and application of AI solutions to streamline operations and improve data quality, delivering measurable efficiency gains.
  • Partner cross‑functionally (data management, technology, client support, and external providers) to gather requirements, align dependencies, support cutovers, and recommend process improvements and automation.
  • Develop and operationalize AI use cases that increase process efficiency while establishing controls and metrics to improve data quality.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in securities or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience with data reconciliation, impact assessment, and structured root-cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience working in CRM systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with data quality controls, SLAs, operational dashboards, and issue management practices.
  • Strong process orientation with a focus on standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business actions for clients, data providers and stakeholders.
