Role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle/MySQL database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions, with a focus on high performance. You will perform day-to-day DBA tasks including backups, recovery, user/role management, monitoring, and security. You will manage AWS-based database environments (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route53) and collaborate with development, DevOps, and infra teams to support application releases and deliver scalable, high-performance database solutions.

Your Role
- Design, develop, and optimize Oracle/MySQL database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions while ensuring high performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution‑plan analysis.
- Perform day‑to‑day DBA tasks including backups, recovery (RMAN/Export‑Import), user/role management, monitoring, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, and ensuring database security, integrity, and availability.
- Manage and support database environments on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route53), including provisioning, migrations, performance monitoring, access/security configuration, and operational L1/L2 troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support application releases, resolve DB/cloud issues, analyze logs, and deliver scalable, stable, and high‑performance database solutions.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Should have 5 years of hands on experience in Designing and Data Modeling
- Develop high-quality database solutions to implement clean code to support application development.
- Analyse existing SQL queries, improve and optimize them for enhanced database performance
- Proficient with AWS ( functional/operational Knowledge) with an experience of 2 years
- Functional knowledge of AWS covering IAM, Route53,S3, IaaS, PaaS(ElasticBeanStalk), DaaS, RDS
- Implement IAM policies and configure VPCs to create a scalable and secure network for the application workloads.
- Excellent understanding of Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server
- Willing to Work in night shift till 3am
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
