Join the International Finance division to support local and international financial reporting for Commerzbank's foreign locations (excluding Americas). You will prepare periodic statistical reporting such as AnaCredit and monthly balance sheet statistics, perform data checks and analyses, and maintain operational process documentation. You will contribute to testing and functional validation and engage with supervisory authorities and stakeholders on ongoing development of statistical reporting.
The International Finance division is responsible for local internal and external financial reporting for the Commerzbank Group's foreign locations (excluding Americas) as well as for some Commerzbank AG Reporting. This includes end-to-end processes of accounting, controlling, regulatory and tax reporting.
Your tasks
- Preparation of periodic statistical reporting like AnaCredit or Monthly balance sheet statistics
- Perform data checks and data analysis tasks
- Maintain operational process documentation
- Contribute to test activities and functional validation
- Be involved in handling inquiries from supervisory authorities and other stakeholders and project work on further development of statistical reporting
Your profile
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
- First experience in operational reporting, ideally within regulatory or financial reporting would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of of credit and collateral products, on- and off-balance sheet, derivatives and counterparty/static data
- Good working knowledge of Excel and SQL and strong analytical skills
- Curiosity and willingness to develop deeper expertise in regulatory requirements over time
- Strong team orientation, willingness to collaborate and readiness to escalate issues when needed
- Ability to handle repetitive operational tasks with sustained focus and quality and work under tight timelines
- Fluent in English is a must
