Overview
Our division consists of many domain and sub-domains like Trade management, Investor space, Trust and Agency of securities, client positions management, custodian business, Cash/wire payments (both internal and external via Swift, crest, and Mint), Channel’s space, messaging billing and Trade Finance, and Lending area. We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to join our team and take on work that includes some areas that are very demanding and critical to business and client deliverables. Subdomains also including transaction banking, NAV calculations corporate actions, corporate banking applications services the needs of business areas spread across all APAC, EMEA, and US regions and production support Engineering team spread across globally.

What You’ll Do
- Manage a set of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) Applications
- Oversee the resolution of complex incidents, ensuring the right problem-solving techniques and processes are applied
- Manage business stakeholder relationships and assist in defining and managing Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) with Global Transaction stakeholders
- Conduct event monitoring and management via a 24x7 workbench that is both monitoring and regularly probing the service environment, and acting on instruction of a run book
- Provide strict production gatekeeper function by reviewing the solutions coming from Application services and ensuring that nothing goes into production operation, unless all prerequisites have been met
- Collect, interpret, and respond to changes in production data, and provide input and contribute to production management related audits
Skills You’ll Need
- Understanding of the end-to-end application support process and escalation procedures, and ability to be fully conversant with all support tools that will be used to provide effective support in the relevant area (such as service operations)
- Experience applying technical solutions to improve the stability of production environments
- Understanding of the flow of data through the application infrastructure and ability to provide operational support, as well as understanding of Service Operations development, and ITIL Service management framework (such as incident, problem, and change processes)
- Knowledge of Operating systems (such as UNIX and Windows), underlying infrastructure environments, and database environments (such as Oracle, MS-SQL, Sybase, and No SQL)
- Familiarity with Scripting languages (such as UNIX shell and PowerShell, PERL, Python, GitHub, Spring boot, JAVA/.NET and similar programming languages)

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
