The Sr. Application Engineer - Quote to Cash at Docusign leads the delivery of scalable QTC solutions and related finance processes. You will design and develop Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP integrations and custom experiences using OIC, VBCS, APEX, and Groovy/SQL, collaborating with Enterprise Integration Services, Architecture, and Product teams. What you'll do As the Senior Application Engineer for Quote to Cash, your role will be to deliver technology solutions that scale the Quote to Cash systems, finance processes, and related systems. This involves close collaboration with teams across Business Transformation, Application Engineering, Application Product Management, Docusign Product, Data, and Integration teams. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Financial Systems, Application Engineering. Responsibility Partner with Enterprise Integration Services, Enterprise Architecture, and Product Management to define comprehensive system and business solutions across Oracle Subscription Management and Quote to Cash domains Design and develop custom application experiences and extensions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), and APEX; leverage REST/SOAP APIs to integrate with internal and third‑party systems Customize Oracle Fusion ERP with App Composer, Page Composer, service mappings, algorithms, Groovy scripting, BI Publisher, and SQL to meet business requirements and close functional gaps Build integrations and data flows using OIC and related tools (BIP, FBDI, ADFDI), orchestrating resilient, observable pipelines and error handling for high‑volume financial operations Prepare technical architecture, design, and configuration documentation; contribute to data mapping, code reviews, test scenario definition, troubleshooting, and defect resolution Maintain and document current and future state process flows and functional/technical specifications to sustain clear knowledge transfer and operational continuity Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. What you bring Basic Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM field with relevant IT experience 8+ years of software engineering experience architecting and delivering complex, large‑scale commercial applications or platform services, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud 5+ years extending Oracle Fusion Cloud applications using OIC, PL/SQL, VBCS, APEX, Groovy, Java, Oracle cloud APIs, BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI, BPM, and object workflows Experience with Oracle Quote to Cash modules such as Accounts Receivable, Advanced Collections, Subscription Management, Pricing, and Product Information Management (PIM) Experience with the Oracle cloud application landscape and ability to learn and experiment with new technologies Experience with AI frameworks (including LLMs and RAG), MLOps, Python, and enterprise AI deployment models for internal and external platforms Experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML) and modern API practices Experience working within Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and utilizing Jira and Confluence Preferred Excellent spoken and written communication Experience with subscription and billing applications like Zuora Experience with payment gateways and self‑service (B2C) business models Hands‑on experience with Salesforce and Apttus applications Expertise in data analysis using SQL and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) Experience in Oracle Redwood applications and Oracle Digital Assistant Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $140,000.00 - $225,075.00 base salary Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $133,800.00 - $197,750.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
