We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst who is eager to learn and grow in the field of data analysis! Your key responsibilities

 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with onsite coordinators and stakeholders.
  • Support the planning and execution of project deliverables.
  • Conduct basic business analysis and assist in gathering functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Communicate with customer representatives as needed.
  • Be willing to travel to customer locations when necessary.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • 1+ years of experience in a data-related role or relevant internship experience.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and data structures.
  • Familiarity with data migration. 
  • Familiarity with data cleaning and preparation techniques.
  • Exposure to data exploration and analysis.
  • Basic skills in data visualization and reporting using no-code or low-code solutions.
  • Introductory SQL knowledge for data querying.
  • Good English proficiency (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Ideally, you'll also have

 

  • Familiarity with BI/ETL/Big Data technologies.
  • Understanding of industry-specific regulations such as BCBS 239 and MiFID.
  • Basic knowledge of data migration processes.
  • Exposure to financial services or related sectors.
  • Interest in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
