Lead Technology Specialist for B-One Performance at FactSet, working at the intersection of finance and software. You will design, implement, and support technical solutions including ETL, data processing and reporting, with a focus on system architecture, application server setup, and database performance. You will work with global teams and client-facing stakeholders to solve complex full-stack issues and collaborate with product and engineering to apply financial logic across modules.

Your Team's Impact
In this team you will be working with our sophisticated financial software solutions. You will be the essential link between investment professionals and FactSet’s software. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and technology with specific expertise in the FactSet platform, you will help clients streamline the research and analysis process. As part of this fantastic team, you will offer an unparalleled level of service along with insight into the intricacies and functionality of the FactSet platform. FactSet’s business is based on 3 main pillars: Data, Software and Services. You will be part of the vital Services team that supplements the Data and Software business of our company.
What you'll do
Working directly with our clients on designing, implementing and supporting various technical solutions including but not limited to ETL, processing and extracting of datasets and reporting.
Familiar with all the functionalities of the product, including the different modules and methodologies, focusing more on its technical aspects such as:
System Architecture
Application Server setup
Database maintenance and performance optimization
Database development work for Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSQL
Web Services & APIs
Working with our global team of specialists, as well as interacting with our clients supporting them in their daily operations.
Analyzing and solving complex technical issues related to a client’s full stack.
Directly collaborating with product & engineering teams.
Understanding the financial logic behind the different modules and financial methodologies.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills:
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related industry discipline.
5+ years of professional experience in a relevant field, preferably in IT, finance, system administration, or programming
SQL and Database experience.
Good communication skills in client-facing situations.
Team Player.
Fluency in English, written and spoken is a must.
Desired Skills:
Sysadmin or programming experience.
Any experience in Financial Reporting or Business Intelligence Systems.
Interest in capital markets, portfolio management, financial instruments.
