Role focuses on running risk and portfolio construction analyses across asset classes for clients, providing on-demand support and interpretation of system outputs. Responsible for implementing system modules for new clients, delivering advisory managed services, methodology consulting, and turning data into actionable insights. Will proactively manage client relationships, prepare POCs, assist with system customizations, and lead client-facing product guidance and training. Collaborates with Product Development, Software Engineers, Quants, and Project Managers to enrich product knowledge and internal documentation.

Your Team's Impact
The Buyside division of FactSet is growing its risk and quant solutions by leveraging the strengths of our analytical products with the expertise of our risk and quant specialists. We aim to develop premier Enterprise Risk Solutions and innovative Quant Solutions offerings. This initiative provides an exciting growth opportunity within FactSet and addresses the needs of an expanding macro risk community and multi-asset class analytics sectors. The Buy-Side Managed Services team seeks a Senior Risk & Quant Specialist for our Sofia location, welcoming individuals passionate about risk management, platform learning, and client service.
Responsibilities:
Run risk and portfolio construction analyses across different asset classes for clients and prospects
Provide on demand support to clients in terms of using the system and interpreting the results
Implement different modules of the system for new clients
Deliver advisory managed services to assist clients with complex workflows, methodology consulting, interpretation of results, and turning data and analytics into actionable insights
Proactively manage our client account relationships
Prepare detailed Proof of Concepts (POC) for prospective clients
Assist our clients with system customizations
Lead client-facing communication providing product (functional and technical) guidance, manage implementation scope and effort estimates
Manage client expectations. Provide regular and clear updates.
Conduct user trainings and support the development of training programs
Assist the team in the quality assurance/testing process of the software features
Interact with different teams – Product Development, Software Engineers, Quants, Project Managers
Actively participate in enriching the product knowledge basе and internal documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related subject
At least 3 years of experience within a similar or relevant financial role
Professional background in Finance or Economics, in particular risk and asset management.
Strong understanding of the area of risk management, financial instruments pricing, factor-based investing, portfolio construction and optimization.
Solid understanding of MS Excel such as formulas, pivot tables, functions, advanced formatting and charting, etc.
Basic experience in SQL queries and database structures or similar
Beneficial Skills:
Financial background in the Asset Management industry
Genuine interest in capital markets and portfolio management
Experience with Risk Management and Portfolio Construction
Interest and affinity to work with software, data and analytics
Financial instruments pricing knowledge, including standard Stock and Bonds assets as well as derivative products such as Options, Futures, Swaps (e.g. CDS, IRS, TRS), Structured Products, etc.
Python and data science skills would be considered as plus
Participation in the CFA Program or FRM Program
