Are you an experienced Power BI professional prepared to solve complex SAP-driven reporting challenges?

This role offers the opportunity to design and optimize enterprise-level BI solutions, integrating SAP and SQL data to gain valuable insights. You'll work closely with stakeholders, ensure data accuracy, and explore innovative Power BI features to enhance reporting capabilities.

More specifically, you will be expected to:

• Develop SAP-integrated BI solutions by designing and delivering Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging SAP data.
• Optimize data models to build and maintain scalable, high-performance models integrating SAP and SQL data sources.
• Ensure data accuracy by verifying and validating SAP and SQL data outputs for reliable reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define goals, and implement customized solutions.
• Integrate SQL data by working closely with data engineering teams to ensure smooth data pipelines.
• Enhance reporting capabilities by continuously exploring new Power BI features and SAP tools.
• Apply best practices in data visualization, governance, and transformation.

Do you have what it takes?

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of direct experience in Power BI development, focusing on SAP data and enterprise-level reporting.
• Solid understanding of Azure SQL, T-SQL, SAP Hana data structures, Power Query M, and DAX.
• Skilled in analyzing complex data systems and transforming them into actionable business intelligence solutions.
• Extensive experience in designing Power BI reports and dashboards, leveraging advanced features such as XMLA endpoints and composite models.
• Familiarity with best practices in Power BI governance, data marts, and emerging functionalities to optimize reporting solutions.
• In-depth understanding of SAP data structures replicated in SQL environments, with knowledge of Simplement’s Roundhouse data structures being an asset.
• Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and translate technical insights into business value. 

Language : As you will be part of a global team, you are expected to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of other languages such as French, German, or Spanish is favorable but not mandatory.

Travel: Some occasional travelling may be required.

Location: This role will be based at our Malaga office.
