We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Virtualization Lead.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement database architectures (relational, NoSQL, cloud, hybrid).
• Develop data models, schemas, and standards for structured and unstructured data.
• Define and enforce data governance, quality, and security policies.
• Lead database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Architect data integration solutions (ETL/ELT, APIs, streaming) using tools such as IBM DataStage, Informatica, or Talend.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
• Evaluate and select database technologies and tools, including ETL platforms and data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Guide data migration, modernization, and cloud adoption projects.
• Document data flows, architectures, and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and analysts on data architecture, design, and tool usage.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience designing and managing enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL, NoSQL, cloud).
• Strong skills in data modeling, normalization, and schema design.
• Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT (preferably with IBM DataStage or similar tools), and API design.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise.
• Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., DataStage, Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, Airflow).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Certifications in database or data integration technologies are a plus.
