We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Business Analyst.

Business: Finance and Traded Risk Tech

Principal responsibilities

  • Be responsible in user requirement gathering, detailed requirement documentation by working closely with the project stakeholders including IT and business users. Ensure the business need can be translated into executable artifacts for development team.Work closely with stakeholders, architects and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
  • Work with development team to clarify the user requirements, conduct system testing, prepare test plan and test cases.
  • Work with business users on the UAT execution, defects follow-up with application development team. Lead or support regular UAT to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Conduct user training session on system functionalities.Ability to independently manage issues when they arise
  • Strong diagram & documentation skills, adherence to quality standards
  • Ability to discuss issues and influence outcomes with Finance business contacts at all levels of seniority and document decisions effective
  • Excellent data management and analysis skills, capable of manipulating big data sets
  • Ability to report progress upwards and provide a level of project management expertise
  • Support month-end and year-end processes.
  • Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement. Support dev team for AI adoption in financial data analysis and training.
  • Develop and document business requirements, user stories and functional specifications/documents.Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from finance stakeholders and other departments.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

  • 5+ years related experiences.
  • Good knowledge on Finance Domain knowledge, especially on investment bank’s derivative product. It would be a big plus if you have the CFA, FRM or similar certification.
  • Good experience in Oracle database language (SQL/PLSQL).
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills in English– both written and verbal.
  • Able to manage the relationships with stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Devops and working in an Agile development methodology.
