The COO Finance (COOF) department delivers a wide range of different finance and risk-related services in the areas of change, operations, process optimization as well as data management, analytics and reporting for the Corporate Risk and Finance domains.

Key Responsibilities

You'll work on solutions that drive strategic initiatives across the Finance organisation, enabling ING to reach its data driven ambition.

You will be a part of the tribe Data Foundation as a Business Analyst. Using your Finance and/or Risk experience you will focus on data management, data requirements, data definition & mapping, data onboarding and data modelling.

As an expert, you deliver the necessary knowledge and skills to make standard and best-in-class products/services for our data consumers. Besides that, you continuously deepen and broaden your knowledge and skills in your area of expertise within your chapter.

Your activities will be in the area of:

  • Collaborating with the users, suppliers & stakeholders to get the best working product
  • Eliciting & refining the data, regulatory & business requirements
  • Breaking down deliverables in clear actionable stories/tasks together with the squad
  • Delivering functional specifications
  • Data mapping, modelling and validation
  • Executing acceptance and other testing

Key Capabilities/Experience & Minimum Qualifications

  • We are looking for an pro-active and knowledgeable Senior Business Analyst with a passion for data management in a Risk & Finance context.

Knowledge:

  • Proven banking & product knowledge. Finance and/or Risk experience enabling understanding of banking products and their attributes
  • Knowledge of, and experience with analyzing large data sets and its quality
  • Experience in:
    • Data management
    • Data requirements
    • Data definitions (semantics)
    • Data onboarding
    • Data modelling
  • Hands on proficient level of experience on SQL

Your education, experience and background

  • You take it on and make it happen;
  • You continuously improve yourself and you help colleagues to be succesful;
  • You have an university (Bachelor’s/Master’s) degree;
  • You like to work in a multidisciplinary squad (agile, scrum);
  • You enjoy learning new skills to support the squad in becoming succesfull;
  • You easily adapt to new environments and embrace change;
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is an asset;
  • You actively ask for help and feedback and are not afraid to give feedback;
  • Affinity with IT.
