ING Hubs Poland is hiring an IT Application Support Engineer to provide functional support for financial markets applications, including repos, securities lending, bonds/equities, settlements and regulatory reporting. You will operate, monitor, and support applications, manage incidents and requests, and drive automation of manual activities within CI/CD and testing. The role involves daily operations, application monitoring, performance reporting, and participation in Scrum events within an Agile 2-week sprint framework. The position offers a salary range of 9,600 to 18,000 PLN gross and requires English at B2 or higher.

We are looking for you if you have:
- Understanding and experience as a functional support for application in Financial Markets (e.g. Repo/SecLending, Bonds/Equities, Settlements/Risk systems, Regulatory Reporting)
- experience operating, monitoring, and supporting applications
- basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Oracle DB (or other SQL databases,
- experience with automation of manual activities (e.g. testing, deployment),
- continuous Improvement mindset - you like to challenge yourself and the team,
- team player attitude with very good communication skills.
- English level -B2 (or higher).
You'll get extra points for:
- good knowledge of Linux/UNIX (incl. script programming),
- working knowledge of CI/CD,
- basic programming skills in any programming language (e.g. Java, Python, other),
- basic knowledge and experience in Agile (ex. Scrum methodology),
- analytical approach to problem solving.
Your responsibilities:
- incidents, tickets, and requests management – solving & dispatching,
- daily operation (mailbox monitoring) and applications monitoring,
- tasks automation, process improvements,
- monitoring and reporting database performance,
- meetings (Scrum events),
- implementation, improvement and management, the release pipeline including automated testing (functionally, non-functionally).

For our team in Poland, we are looking for a IT Application Support Engineer technically passionate, solution-focused, and able to contribute to design and development of a platform built with usage of ION trading platform API.
Our team is a part of the Financial Markets & Group Treasury Investing IT area of ING. We are responsible for development and maintenance of the system used in the Financial Markets and Global Treasury. Team is dedicated for Security Financing and Equities business with stakeholders round the world.
By being part of our team, you will actively participate in the support and change of Anvil Platform taking into account your learning path. Aside of maintenance of the platform and daily communication with business users you will participate in automation in the context of CI/CD, testing and monitoring for more effective workplace. All tasks will be realized in the Agile framework in 2 weeks sprints. Please send your CV in English.
