Join the APAC Testing Centre of Excellence as a Governance and Reporting Specialist to manage regulatory interactions, governance, and reporting across the Asia-Pacific region. You will coordinate regulatory examinations, audits and stakeholder communications, track requests and action plans, and produce metrics and status updates for senior management. The role requires strong data analytics and reporting skills (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Microsoft 365) and business proficiency in Mandarin. This position emphasizes process improvement, stakeholder relationship building, and working across multicultural teams.

Location: Hong Kong

As a part of the Regulatory & Reporting team  in  the APAC Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE), you will play a pivotal role in managing regulatory interactions, governance, and reporting for the Asia-Pacific region. This position offers exposure to multiple business lines and stakeholders, fostering best practices and continuous improvement towards the testing center of excellence.  You will thrive in a multicultural environment and contribute to strategic initiatives that advance the Firm’s risk and control framework.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory examinations, audits, and reviews across APAC
  • Coordinate interactions between regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage regulatory meetings and document submissions for TCoE
  • Track and manage regulatory and audit requests, responses, and commitments
  • Monitor, document, and report on exam findings and action plans
  • Produce metrics and reports for APAC entities, aligned with global TCoE standards
  • Prepare and deliver status updates and escalation reports to senior management
  • Escalate issues impacting APAC to relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication with business units, control functions, and senior management
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across countries and business lines
  • Identify and implement process improvements and contribute to transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Business proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Advanced data analytics and reporting skills (at minimum Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Microsoft 365 Office Suite. Proficiency in other tools is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to deliver under pressure
  • Logical thinking and a mindset for process enhancement

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in regulatory management or audit coordination
  • Knowledge of APAC regulatory landscape
  • Familiarity with risk management and control frameworks
  • Exposure to multicultural environments and diverse business lines
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to foster stakeholder connectivity across regions
  • Prior experience in financial services or compliance roles
