Job Summary 


As a Cost & Commissions Analyst within the Commercial Investment Bank Operations team, you will deliver strategic cost calculation and analytics platforms. You will partner with Markets, Finance, and Technology to implement intelligent automation and process improvements. You will ensure seamless integration of new solutions, supporting savings initiatives, reconciliations, and stakeholder management.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of data-intensive initiatives across FICC OTC products.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage work streams and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Perform deep data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Elicit and document complex business requirements for technology implementation.
  • Leverage SQL, Alteryx, and AI tools for data validation and reconciliation.
  • Design and track project KPIs, proactively identifying risks and control gaps.
  • Lead governance and stakeholder forums, ensuring clear communication of status and risks.
  • Drive automation of reporting and reconciliation processes with technology partners.
  • Manage JIRA backlogs and sprint artifacts for iterative project delivery.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing and production releases, validating data and calculations.
  • Own exception management, conducting root cause analysis and stakeholder updates.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Demonstrate 6+ years of experience in banking or financial services.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of FICC OTC products and investment banking.
  • Understand front-to-back trade lifecycle, including fees and reconciliation.
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies using JIRA and delivery tools.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, data models, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze and validate large datasets to identify trends and root causes.
  • Manage stakeholders across Business, Technology, and Operations.

    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing with scenario design and validation.
  • Coordinate manual-to-automated process transitions for risk reduction.
  • Collaborate with Operations to resolve data and reporting issues.
  • Own end-to-end delivery for data-driven enhancements.
  • Establish and lead governance forums and executive reporting.
  • Utilize intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Employ SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and automation tools for scalable solutions.
