The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at J.P. Morgan Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) is responsible for accelerating AWM’s data and analytics journey. This includes ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of AWM's data, as well as leveraging this data to generate insights and drive decision-making. The CDAO is also responsible for maximizing the value and impact of our data, responsibly. We collaborate with business, technology, operations, control, and other key stakeholders to achieve our goals. Our teams cover all aspects of the data lifecycle, ensuring governance standards are met while making data easy to discover and consume.

Job Summary

As an Associate in the Strategic Global Authorities Program, you will lead the review and remediation of conflict roles identified in client documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. You will oversee the extraction and transformation of data, validate and reconcile information against established frameworks, and escalate unresolved issues as needed. You will also support the preparation and updating of Tableau dashboards to report project progress to senior management. In addition, you will mentor Analysts, provide guidance on data validation and remediation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the review and remediation of complex conflict roles and authority discrepancies, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage end-to-end remediation workflows for high-complexity cases, including detailed analysis of bespoke client documentation and board resolutions.
  • Validate, reconcile, and quality-assure data outputs generated by Gen AI tools, making critical decisions on data integrity before distribution to systems of record.
  • Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Tableau dashboards and reports to provide executive-level insights on project progress, remediation metrics, and risk indicators.
  • Establish and document standard operating procedures for data validation and remediation activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and develop strategic solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology and Operation teams to understand requirements, deliver insights and ensure alignment to the program
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Analysts, reviewing their work and ensuring adherence to control standards and best practices.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or related roles within financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in managing complex data validation and remediation projects.
  • Strong background in regulatory documentation review and authority management processes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with proven ability to resolve complex regulatory and data integrity issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau, including ability to optimize queries and create sophisticated analytical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and account authority structures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to present complex findings to senior management.
  • Project management capabilities with experience supporting multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Strategic thinking and process improvement mindset, with ability to identify and implement operational enhancements

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience with AI-driven data validation tools and processes preferred.
  • Experience with client onboarding, KYC, and reference data management is preferred.
