Job Summary

The Card Marketing Activation & Transformation team is seeking a data‑driven Business Analyst to automate and scale executive reporting (monthly business update, OKRs, staffing, and employee scorecards) and drive adoption of our Tableau reporting suite. The role will leverage AI and other data automation tools to streamline report generation and metric tracking, integrate data from Marketing Connect and adjacent tools (e.g., AEM, Smart Analyzer), and lead a structured user education and communications program to expand usage across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reporting automation and AI enablement
    • Build, automate, and maintain recurring executive reporting, including the monthly business update, OKRs, staffing levels, and employee scorecards, with an emphasis on reusability and auditability.
    • Leverage AI/LLM capabilities (e.g., automated narrative summaries, metric reconciliation assistants, anomaly detection prompts) to reduce manual effort and accelerate time to insight.
    • Establish quality checks, data lineage, and documentation for all automated reporting assets.
  • Scorecards and KPI governance
    • Design and operationalize partner and employee scorecards with clear KPI definitions, owners, and update cadences.
    • Implement data validation rules and monitoring to ensure accuracy and consistency across ~30+ existing dashboards and new assets.
  • Tableau ecosystem integration and optimization
    • Connect and harmonize data from Marketing Connect and adjacent tools (e.g., AEM, Smart Analyzer) to expand the reporting foundation into an integrated performance view.
    • Standardize dashboard templates and self‑service assets to reduce duplication and improve ease of use.
  • User adoption, education, and change management
    • Stand up a formal user education program—training materials, office hours, and role‑based guides—to grow adoption beyond managerial users to Marketers and Relationship teams.
    • Launch a regular communications series to announce new capabilities, preview the roadmap, and share tips and best practices that encourage consistent usage.
  • Stakeholder engagement and delivery
    • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Analytics, and Technology stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and ensure solutions align to business goals.
    • Track and report adoption metrics (e.g., active users, time‑to‑insight, dashboard engagement) and use feedback to iterate and improve.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or operations within marketing or a related domain.
  • Proficiency with:
    • SQL for querying and transforming data.
    • Alteryx and Tableau for dashboard development, publishing, and usage monitoring.
    • At least one scripting language (e.g., Python) for automation and data workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL concepts; experience working with relational data sources and joining data across multiple systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate recurring reporting workflows and apply rigorous data quality controls.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of translating data into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience delivering training, building user guides, or leading change‑management initiatives to drive analytics adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating marketing and content platforms (e.g., Marketing Connect, AEM, Smart Analyzer) into BI pipelines.
  • Hands‑on use of AI/LLM tools for report generation, text summarization, or anomaly detection within analytics processes.
  • Familiarity with KPI frameworks for OKRs, staffing capacity, and performance scorecards.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery and backlog management for analytics/BI workstreams.
