Senior Associate Quant Analytics on the Home Lending Data & Analytics team supporting Correspondent Home Lending. Design, build and implement reports and BI dashboards, translate business requirements into data solutions, and provide analytics-driven recommendations to improve processes and customer experience. Work with large, complex datasets across Hadoop, Teradata, Snowflake and other systems, identify data quality issues, and create join processes for datasets without unique keys. Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams while working independently with high accountability.

- Work closely with business partners to gather reporting requirementsProvide data in a digestible format to key stakeholders using Business Intelligence Dashboards for both recurring and ad hoc reportingTranslate business needs into data solutions for long-term objectivesPartner with the business to provide insightful analytics for process improvementPerform data discovery work to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources to help develop various types of data-driven Home Lending products/initiatives.Build processes to make joining datasets without unique keys possibleThink critically about headwinds facing the business and explore opportunities for analyticsEvaluate data sources for data quality and discrepanciesCollaborate with team members, both to build out specific projects and to continuously teach and learn new technology and techniquesWork independently with minimal supervision but high accountabilityRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field3+ years of data and analytics experience using SQLMust have the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlinesStrong understanding of SQL and an ability identify data quality issuesExperience working with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, MS DBs and SnowflakeExperience with reporting technologies like Tableau, SSRS, Alteryx, Toad, SQL Developer, and Power BIAptitude for learning new theory and new technologyAdvising business and technology partners on data-driven opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer experienceProactively interfacing with, and gathering information from, other areas of the business (Operations, Technology, Finance, Marketing)Critical thinker that will thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and will mesh well with a team that prides itself on attention to detail and resultsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or financeMortgage experience preferredMaster’s Degree in Analytics (or similar concentration)Promote strategic insights in Home Lending as a Senior Associate, leveraging data for impactful decision-making.
