Senior Associate on the Home Lending Data & Analytics team focused on transforming large, complex mortgage and lending datasets into actionable insights and BI deliverables. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, evaluate data quality, build data solutions without unique keys, and create dashboards and recurring/ad-hoc reporting. The role requires strong SQL expertise and experience with platforms like Snowflake, Teradata, Hadoop and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS).

- Work closely with business partners to understand existing processes and challengesProvide insightful analytics for process improvementTranslate business needs into data solutions for long-term objectivesEvaluate data sources for data quality and discrepanciesPerform data discovery work to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources to help develop various types of data-driven Home Lending products/initiatives.Build processes to make joining datasets without unique keys possibleUse advanced data discovery and data mining tools to reveal relationships and trends in the data that provide new insights into behaviorsProvide actionable data in a digestible format to key stakeholders using Business Intelligence Dashboards for both recurring and ad hoc reportingThink critically about headwinds facing the business and explore opportunities for analyticsCollaborate with team members to build out specific projects and to continuously teach and learn new technology and techniquesWork independently with minimal supervision but high accountabilityRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field3+ years of data and analytics experience using SQLMust have the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlinesStrong understanding of SQL and an ability identify data quality issuesExperience working with SSMS, Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, MS DBs and SnowflakeExperience with reporting technologies like Tableau, SSRS, Alteryx, Toad, SQL Developer, and Power BIAptitude for learning new theory and new technologyAdvising business and technology partners on data-driven opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer experienceProactively interfacing with, and gathering information from, other areas of the business (Operations, Technology, Finance, Marketing)Critical thinker that will thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and will mesh well with a team that prides itself on attention to detail and resultsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or financeMortgage experience preferredMaster’s Degree in Analytics (or similar concentration)
