Assist in the execution of IT audit engagements across general IT environments, automated controls, and ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics). Help design audit approaches for testing General IT Controls (GITC) and automate control testing, and coordinate IT audit findings with clients. Provide guidance to more junior engagement team members and identify performance improvement opportunities while maintaining positive client relationships. Travel to various locations across the U.S. up to 5% with comprehensive compensation and benefits offered.
Assist in the execution of the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements over general IT environments, automated business process controls and modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) packages (SAP, Oracle, Workday and Microsoft Dynamics), including system development, package implementation, SOC Audits, control readiness assessments, and platform reviews within multiple industries. Assist in designing the audit approach for testing General IT Controls (GITC), automated business process and modern ERP controls throughout the business cycle. Coordinate the day-to-day communication of IT audit findings between the IT audit team and the clients. Help managers and directors identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients. Provides guidance to more junior engagement team members on addressing review notes. Develop and maintain a positive, productive, collaborative professional relationship with the client and engagement teams to provide well-coordinated and consistent high-performance results.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 5%.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year Bachelor's degree.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Performing internal or external IT audit; Assessing and testing the design and effectiveness of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) packages in the course of IT audits, including SAP, Oracle, Workday and Microsoft Dynamics; Preparing IT risk assessment documentation related to business process reengineering and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance testing; Coordinating the identification and testing of automated controls and General IT Controls (GITCs); Identifying and documenting automated control and GITC exceptions, deviations, and remediation of controls; Assisting in evaluating whether IT deficiencies impact control reliance; and Mapping audit Relevant Data Elements (RDEs) to data structures within disparate IT and ERP systems.
Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.
