As a Senior Software Delivery Analyst - Velox, you will work with client representatives, McKinsey consultants, your Velox project lead and a senior Net Working Capital (NWC) expert on activities ranging from data collection and analyses, client interviews and problem-solving sessions, end deliverable creation, and more. You will drive the process of converting raw client data sources into enriched dashboards to deliver insights related to the business challenges at stake. You will diligently own the data management, analytics and visualization of our client engagements, and translate insights into impact through pattern recognition, expertise and client coaching: accompany clients in their use of the solution to drive sustainable and high impact. You’ll work with a variety of colleagues across offices and time zones to shape and extend the Velox solution.

Your Impact

As a Senior Software Delivery Analyst, you will work with client representatives, McKinsey consultants, your Velox project lead and a senior Net Working Capital (NWC) expert throughout client engagements, on activities ranging from data collection and analyses, client interviews and problem-solving sessions, end deliverable creation, and much more.

You will also drive the process of converting raw client data sources into enriched dashboards to deliver insights related to the business challenges at stake.

You will diligently own the data management, analytics and visualization of our client engagements, and translate insights into impact through patter recognition, expertise and client coaching: accompany clients in their use of the solution to drive sustainable and high impact.

You will be involved in McKinsey consultant’s and client’s capability building.

You will co-shape the solution – we are always improving, deepening and extending our value proposition to become better impact partners.

You will be expected to grasp the opportunity to take on solution development initiatives in the areas you are excited by (e.g. client development, solution delivery excellence, product development, etc.

Velox is a McKinsey Transformation solution and you will be in our office in San José, Costa Rica.

McKinsey Transformation (MT) is a practice that delivers a proven approach for transformational change to clients seeking radical and sustainable performance improvement. Over the last several years, we have worked with hundreds of organizations around the world and across sectors. Most of our clients are driven by a desire to capture untapped potential; others face significant external challenges or industry discontinuities.

NWC is a high impact component of many of those transformation programs around the world. We are taking it to the next level with Velox, which provides an end-to-end solution to help McKinsey Transformation (and non-MT) clients drive cash improvements in NWC.

You'll work with a variety of colleagues (McKinsey consultants, product development, service delivery, leadership, client development). They will be based in different offices across Europe, India, US and beyond; as are the clients you will be serving.

Your qualifications and skills

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/graduate degree is a plus
3+ years of relevant and professional work experience
Strong quantitative/analytical thinking capabilities
Hands-on experience in with Microsoft Power BI and Fabric; good to have understanding in R, Python, SAS, SQL and Alteryx. Flexibility and willingness to learn new tools and techniques as per organization needs
Sound problem-solving, requirement gathering, and initiative taking skills
Understanding of company financials and business terminology
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and independent thinking; creative and action-oriented
Experience in service delivery, project management and change management
Excellent time management & expectation management skills
Able to work well within teams across continents/time zones with a collaborative mindset
Ability to interact in a high paced environment where priorities evolve constantly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to facilitate discussions and develop deliverables
