Advent Geneva Specialist role requiring 6-9 years of experience with a focus on SS&C Geneva reconciliations across cash, position, trade, and P&L. The role involves performing daily and monthly complex reconciliations on large data sets, with strong Excel skills and SQL familiarity; Gresham Recon experience is a plus. The candidate should have hedge fund accounting reconciliations experience, Geneva knowledge, and the ability to liaise with business and IT, while ensuring quality SLAs and functioning independently or in a team.
Role & responsibilities -
Overall experience between 6-9 Years. Looking for a detail oriented SS&C Geneva Specialist.
Good knowledge and understanding of reconciliations processing (related to cash, position, trade, and PNL) across all instruments types (forex, equity, options, OTC derivatives, swaps, fixed income)
Should be able to perform daily, monthly complex reconciliations independently
Ability to work with large data sets, excellent Excel skills needed, SQL abilities a plus
Working knowledge of Gresham recon tool a plus
Ability to research issues and find solutions.
Research and resolve reconciliation discrepancies/breaks independently
Should be able to liaise across the organization (Business and IT) for information and problem solving
Ensure to adhere quality SLA while performing reconciliations
Preferably Accounting, Finance or Operations Background
Should have relevant hedge fund accounting reconciliations
Geneva experience is must
Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and function with minimal guidance
Excellent verbal and written communication
Good understanding of Capital Market, Hedge Fund and Financial Instruments
Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
Should have ability to work independently and also in a team environment
