Lead role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise SQL Server databases and data models to support Private Assets applications. The VP will drive database performance, scalability, security, and governance, and provide technical leadership on architecture and optimization. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, QA) to deliver reliable data solutions and drive cost efficiency and process improvements. Will support production systems, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes for stability.

Your Team Responsibilities

The team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise databases supporting applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and optimizing SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and data models.

  • Ensuring database performance, scalability, and security through best engineering practices.

  • Collaborating with application developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver efficient and reliable data solutions.

  • Driving cost optimization, process improvement, and adherence to data governance standards.

  • Supporting production systems, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing long-term fixes for stability.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and data models for Private Assets applications.

  • Improve database performance, scalability, and reliability through tuning and best practices.

  • Implement data quality, governance, and security standards across all database environments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development, integration, and deployment.

  • Analyze and optimize database processes to reduce cost and improve system efficiency.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on database design, architecture, and optimization strategies.

  • Strong expertise in SQL Server development, including query optimization, performance tuning, and data modeling.

  • Deep understanding of database architecture, indexing strategies, and transaction management.

  • Experience implementing best practices for scalability, security, and cost optimization.

  • Proficiency in ETL design, data workflows, and process automation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, DevOps, and business teams to deliver robust data solutions.
