The Power BI Analyst will design and deliver Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business teams in Hyderabad or Gurugram. You will translate business requirements into clear visualizations, collaborate with Senior Analysts and Lead Analysts to deliver data-driven insights, and ensure data accuracy and performance. The role requires strong Power BI skills, SQL, DAX, data modeling, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel may be required to meet client needs.

The group combines cutting edge data science expertise with core consulting expertise to augment engagement teams with analytical firepower to deliver outstanding results.

Role Summary:

The Power BI Analyst will support business teams by developing high-quality dashboards, reports, and data models. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into simple and impactful visualizations. The Analyst will work closely with Senior Analysts and Lead Analysts to deliver data-driven insights

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements.

  • Work with senior team members to understand KPIs, metrics, and data definitions.

  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling using SQL, Power Query and DAX.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across reports and data sources.

  • Prepare documentation for dashboards, data models, and business logic.

  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and performance optimization for reports.

  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests from business stakeholders.

  • Stay updated with Power BI features and best practices to improve reporting standards.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent. MS or Certificate courses in analytics preferred

Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • Overall experience of 1+ years in Power BI, a business intelligence tool

  • Strong foundational skills in Power Query, DAX, and data modelling

  • Experience with Power BI ecosystem tools, including custom visuals, Dataflows, and Power Automate

  • Ability to understand business logic and convert it into meaningful dashboards.

  • Good knowledge of Excel, SQL, or other analytical tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn quickly.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

  • Experience using power automate, power apps and Sharepoint is preferred

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights and proficiency in data modelling and visualization skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of stakeholders (both internal and external)

  • Fast learner with ability to learn and pick up a new tool/ platform quickly

  • Advanced skills in MS-office, along with familiarity with Gen AI and other analytical tools preferred

  • Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs.
