Join a new function building monitoring and observability tools across Qube Research & Technologies' trading platforms. You'll design and implement dashboards, GUIs, and alerting tools for real-time trade flow, limits, and system health, collaborating with application teams and stakeholders. You will join a new function responsible for developing monitoring and observability tools across QRT’s trading platforms. This role is aimed at early-career developers who are interested in real-time systems, trading flows, and operational tooling. You will help design and implement dashboards, GUIs, and alerting tools that provide visibility into platform health and trading activity. As the internal capability around this new platform grows, you will play a key role in building institutional knowledge and driving platform adoption.
Your future role within QRT

Build and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of trade flow, limits, and system health

Develop alerting and live reporting tools to support trading operations and risk functions

Collaborate with application and support teams to capture and visualise key observability metrics

Contribute to internal expertise in the new analytics and monitoring platform

Work closely with consultants and stakeholders to guide the platform’s evolution within QRT
Your present skillset
-
1–2 years of post-graduate experience in a technical or analytical role

Strong SQL skills and comfort working with structured datasets

Demonstrated programming ability in any general-purpose language

Numerate STEM degree (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry); Computer Science not required

Interest in GUI development and tools for live monitoring and analytics

Curiosity about trading systems, financial data, and infrastructure observability

Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for learning new tools and platforms
