The Difference You Make:
The Specialist, Testing provides test services delivery and leadership for applications and projects. S/he assists with designing test plans, identifying test facility requirements, scheduling and executing tests and drafting test evaluation criteria, as well as final test reports. Works with application development, architecture, infrastructure and engineering groups for performance testing and application analysis initiatives to define success criteria and evaluation methodologies. End to end project performance testing including Requirement Gathering, Test Planning, Scripting, Execution and Analysis.

  • Creates, tests cases based on provided requirements.
  • Prepares test setups.
  • Executes test cases based on analysis of system enhancements.
  • Conducts regression testing with every new build.
  • Creates and logs defects.
  • Defects reporting.
  • Identifies operational implications of enhancements.
  • Researches and resolves Production Support cases.
  • Interacts with development on doubts and issues.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field. - Required.
  • 0+ Years Experience with test strategies, test plans, and test cases. - Required. Experience in writing SQLs to query the backend during the test execution. Expertise in testing web-based applications and web services-based systems with minimal to no user interface.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and concepts.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is necessary.
  • Experience application lifecycle management tools such as HP ALM and JIRA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fair knowledge of different phases of test lifecycle.
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
  • Basic understanding of mobile development languages (JAVA, Objective-C, Swift, C#).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to learn new technology quickly.

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$44,250.00 USD

Maximum:

$86,000.00 USD
