SEB Tallinn is hiring a Data Steward for Finance, Risk and the Data Tribe to manage data in line with SEB Data Governance policies and own data models for assigned domains. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners and architects to translate requirements into logical data structures and establish metadata descriptions and business glossary definitions. The role covers data quality control, remediation of data quality issues, and supporting downstream data consumers across development initiatives.   • As a Data Steward you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring data within the assigned Data Area is managed in line with SEB Data Governance policies
  • Defining and owning logical and conceptual data models for assigned data domains, ensuring they accurately reflect business concepts and relationships
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, data owners, and architects to translate business requirements into logical data structures
  • Establishing and maintaining metadata descriptions and business glossary definitions
  • Coordinating the definition, implementation, and monitoring of data quality controls
  • Identifying, documenting, and driving remediation of data quality issues, including root cause analysis and improvement proposals
  • Supporting downstream data consumers and providing data expertise to development initiatives
  • You are the right fit if you have:
  • Strong SQL skills and practical experience working with databases;
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining conceptual and logical data models;
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles (entities, attributes, relationships, normalization and similar);
  • Experience in reporting solutions, database design, data control implementation, data quality management;
  • Understanding of regulations that affect regulatory reporting area and practical experience with the data flows supporting regulatory reporting processes;
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic environment where priorities and requirements may evolve, and the ability to create clarity through proactive communication;
  • Experience in finance and economic analysis, data Management and tools like Collibra would be an advantage;
  • Ability to explain data concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences;
  • Experience in regulated and large-scale data environments is considered a plus;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English language
