1. Oracle Database Architecture & Application Design<\/strong>

• Design and maintain PL\/SQL packages, schema structures, indexing strategies<\/strong>, and data models aligned with application requirements.<\/li>
• Work with application architects to translate functional flows into efficient DB structures.<\/li>
• Recommend and enforce best practices around data modeling, partitioning, materialized views<\/strong>, and storage design.<\/li><\/ul>2. Performance Tuning & Optimization<\/strong>
  • Conduct deep\u2011dive analysis of SQL queries, execution plans, AWR\/ASH reports<\/strong>, and Oracle Performance Hub.<\/li>
  • Optimize complex PL\/SQL code, triggers, functions, and stored procedures.<\/li>
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks at the application\u2013DB interface.<\/li><\/ul>3. Application\u2013DB Integration<\/strong>
    • Work with full\u2011stack teams to validate and optimize ORM mappings, JDBC\/ODP.NET usage, and application query patterns.<\/li>
    • Ensure adherence to Oracle DB best practices in application code.<\/li>
    • Provide guidance on transaction management, concurrency control, and cursor handling.<\/li><\/ul>4. Oracle Database Operations & Reliability<\/strong>
      • Manage schema changes, DB deployments, versioning, and rollbacks using tools such as Liquibase\/Flyway<\/strong> (if applicable).<\/li>
      • Monitor database health using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), AWR, ASH, ADDM.<\/li>
      • Ensure strong backup, recovery, high availability (RAC\/Data Guard), and DR strategies.<\/li><\/ul>5. Security, Compliance & Data Governance<\/strong>
        • Implement and manage Oracle security features: roles, privileges, auditing, TDE, data masking, VPD\/FGA<\/strong>.<\/li>
        • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI\u2011DSS).<\/li>
        • Maintain data quality and validation standards for the application domain.<\/li><\/ul>6. Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis<\/strong>
          • Lead resolution of Oracle\u2011related incidents, including performance degradations, deadlocks, and data inconsistencies.<\/li>
          • Perform RCA for outages and propose preventive measures.<\/li>
          • Work with SRE\/DevOps teams to automate Oracle health checks and alerting.<\/li><\/ul>7. Technical Leadership & Collaboration<\/strong>
            • Serve as the point of contact for all Oracle DB matters for the specific application.<\/li>
            • Coach developers on SQL and PL\/SQL best practices.<\/li>
