Responsible for administering and optimizing Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments while developing automation to streamline deployments, monitoring, and maintenance tasks. The role involves performance tuning, backup/recovery, capacity planning, and ensuring high availability and security of database systems. You'll collaborate with development and operations teams to design repeatable automation, create operational runbooks, and implement monitoring and alerting. Strong scripting and database engineering skills are required to drive reliability and operational efficiency.
