Our Story
Hello there. We’re Zopa.
We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. Fast forward to 2020 and we launched Zopa Bank. A bank that listens to what our customers don’t like about finance and does the opposite. We’re redefining what it feels like to work in finance. Our vision for a new era of banking puts people front and centre — we’ve built a business that empowers everyone to aim high, every day, to move finance forward. At Zopa, Analysts are the people who turn curiosity into clarity and data into direction. We’re a bank built on doing things differently and growing fast. Over the past two years, we’ve grown more than 25% year-on-year. As we scale, thoughtful, high-quality analytics becomes even more important. Not just to explain what’s happening, but to shape what we build next.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Payments Tribe - someone structured, independent and craft-focused, who cares deeply about making impact.
The Role
This is a foundational Product Analyst role within Payments. While the tribe is established, it has not previously had dedicated Product Analytics support. You will be the embedded analytics partner for Payments - shaping how insight is generated, how metrics are defined, and how decisions are made.
You’ll sit alongside Product and Engineering day-to-day, while reporting into a central Product Analytics team. That means you get the best of both worlds: deep domain ownership in Payments, plus a strong analytics cohort committed to building one of the best product analytics functions in fintech.
This role will suit someone who enjoys building clarity in complex spaces, creating structure where ambiguity exists, and becoming the trusted expert in a domain.
About the Payments Tribe
The Payments Tribe’s 2026 strategy is about moving from a fragmented, product-by-product payments setup to a unified, resilient, and cost-efficient payments platform that underpins Zopa’s ambition to be the Home of Money.
The focus is shifting from “enabling launches” (e.g. our Biscuit card in 2025) to building a horizontally integrated payments experience that improves customer trust, lowers cost per transaction, and reduces operational risk, while enabling growth across Current Accounts, Lending, Wealth and POS.
Payments is complex, data-rich and business-critical. Great analytics here directly improves customer experience and financial performance.
