The Senior Deal Desk Analyst holds fiduciary responsibility for managing initial approvals in the deal approval workflow and structures intricate sales agreements to reduce sales cycle duration. The role collaborates with Sales teams to identify Customers' business issues and helps structure deals that satisfy Adobe's policies and customers' needs. You will coordinate contract preparation and deal approval steps, provide detailed deal value explanations to multiple partners, deliver in-quarter deal status updates, analyze workflows for improvements, and handle ad-hoc projects as needed.
The Opportunity
The Senior Deal Desk Analyst holds fiduciary responsibility for managing initial approvals in the deal approval workflow. This role focuses on structuring intricate sales agreements and supporting Adobe’s strive to reduce sales cycle duration and hasten deal closing. The analyst collaborates with Sales teams to pinpoint Customers’ essential business issues and assists in structuring deals that fulfill both Adobe’s policies and Customers’ needs.
What you'll Do
Deal Desk Analyst will coordinate the ongoing contract preparation and deal approval steps by being a trusted partner to the sales teams. You will deliver detailed reasons to various partners (Business Unit, Legal, Credit, Revenue Assurance, Audit and Compliance, Order Management, Sales Operations, Customer Success Manager) in order to articulate deal value consistently. In addition, you will provide in-quarter deal status updates and communication to sales finance and sales management, and meet established performance indicators and service guidelines. You will analyze current workflows, propose improvements, and handle ad-hoc duties on special projects and analysis when necessary.
What you need to succeed
- You thrive in a team environment, are self-motivated, and are very meticulous with demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
- 7 to 10+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Pricing, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Revenue role in an Enterprise Software/SaaS industry.
- Demonstrated success partnering with internal business units and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent social skills: ability to articulate verbally and in writing, willingness to appropriately explain difficult issues; ability to think quickly.
- Strong analytical, commercial savvy, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment; delivering accuracy under tight deadlines independently where adaptability is imperative.
- Good understanding of revenue recognition rules.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Salesforce.com, CPQ/quoting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
