Serve as a customer-facing member of AMD's Commercial sales team in Tokyo, responsible for building and growing AMD's commercial systems channel business. You will drive business development with Distribution, NSPs and VAR partners by evangelizing AMD technology, creating sales programs, and enabling sales teams through training while managing executive relationships. The role requires understanding customer goals, educating partners on AMD solutions, and maintaining account plans to meet or exceed quotas. You will advocate for customers internally to AMD and help resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes.

This role is customer-facing and will be responsible for building AMD's commercial systems channel business. You will be responsible for driving business development with Distribution, NSP and VAR partners by evangelizing AMD technology, building sales programs, enabling sales teams through training, and managing executive relationships. THE PERSON: A sales professional with a passion to build lasting relationships with internal and external customers. A person who can influence, lead, inspire a team of professionals to achieve and surpass goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand the customer's business goals and requirements; foster relationships and manage customer expectations to mutually aligned business goals with AMD Educate partners on AMD technologies and solutions; may be brought in by partners to help sell AMD technology in OEM products to end customers Create and implement sales and marketing programs to grow AMD's business within the channel Manage executive relationships between partners and AMD. Establish and maintain account plans to promote sales growth. Achieve assigned quota for AMD products Be a strong advocate for the customer internally to AMD, reporting and resolving customer issues PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Basics of core network in Telecom. Familiarity with Telecom Standards. Knowledge of Diameter and SS7 protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to cope with fast-paced, high-pressure situations, especially during outages. Curious and commendable attitude. Team player – an absolute must. Keen to experiment and come up with creative solutions. Self-learner with a focus on sharing knowledge with the team. Driven individuals with a passion for uncovering mysteries and solving cases are valuable assets to the team.
