Senior business development executive responsible for the business for AMD's Tier 1 OEM partners. Owns design portfolio development, go-to-market planning, key contracts, financial planning, and long-term customer strategy. The Role: We are looking for a seasoned business development executive to own the business for a group of our Tier 1 OEM partners. The role will include development of design portfolio, go-to-market planning, key contracts/agreements, financial planning, and long-term strategy for the customers under management. All agreements with the customers should be developed in a win-win fashion to ensure long-term growth in the partnership. The Person: The ideal candidate should be a highly experienced business development executive with specialization in the technology sector (semiconductor preferred). Experience with all phases of the product lifecycle will be important, including design win, regional engagement, retail assortment, and sales training will be important to success in the role. Ability to communicate confidently to internal business partners, external business partners, senior executives, and functional team leaders is a must. Prior experience managing P&Ls and large multi-national accounts is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Understand key customer care-abouts and develop effective long-term strategies to ensure growth in the partnership Manage the account P&L and ensure predictable profitability across quarters Map the customer design opportunities and ensure wins on AMD silicon Grow profitable in-house market share with the customer Manage direct reports / account leaders Preferred Experience: Proven experience as Technology Business Development Executive Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred Experience in the personal computer industry is preferred Well-organized with excellent time management and project prioritization skills Outstanding listening and understanding skills Exceptional presentation, communication, and writing skills Academic Credentials: University degree in engineering or marketing MBA (preferred) Location: Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA #LI-CJ1 #LI-HYBRID Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
