The Account Executive will join Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Mid-Market Sales to help Chinese enterprise advertisers grow their business using Google advertising solutions. You will establish executive-level partnerships, optimize advertising investments, and identify multi-quarter growth opportunities for a portfolio of clients. You will deliver a high-quality customer experience, coach teammates, and collaborate with specialists, engineers, and product teams to define goals, strategies, and success metrics. This role requires fluent Mandarin and English and can be based in Shanghai or Shenzhen, China.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support the client management in this market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy, and product knowledge across digital advertising products.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling as an engagement strategy.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans, influence or collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer.
  • Ability to assess and solve customer needs via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling.

  • Prioritize and deliver an excellent customer experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Coach teammates in the organization to expand skills that cultivate customers growth and contribute to overall team success.
  • Generate plans by collaborating with specialists, engineers and product teams, and define business goals, strategies, and metrics for success.
