Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology business or business development at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.
  • Experience in developing cloud or Information Technology (IT) solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in promoting infrastructure software, databases and tools, or applications software in the telecom industry.
  • Experience in managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience working in business and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with enterprise customers, influence direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Manage entire cycles, presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  • Guide account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, work with customer engineers, and Google partners, creating new opportunities.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, growth plans, business motivators, technology strategy, and engaged landscape.
  • Motivate business development, forecast, and achieve goals by guiding customers through the entire business cycle.
