Amazon Advertising Account Executive for the GGS Accelerate team is responsible for prospecting and developing executive-level relationships with advertisers, retaining and growing revenue, and driving deals to closure across multi-platform Amazon Advertising solutions. The role emphasizes data-driven selling, mapping ad revenue to quotas, and delivering strategic advertising solutions leveraging Amazon Ads tools. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Ad Success, Seller/Vendor teams and product teams to tailor advertising plans for different businesses, supported by in-console self-service solutions. A strong emphasis on customer service, understanding e-commerce landscapes, and performance metrics is required.

Key job responsibilities
• Use your influencing and relationship-building skills to prospect, penetrate and develop executive-level relationships with clients, uncovering the business needs of Amazon's clients
• Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers
• Drive deals to closure in a new business environment
• You influence how decisions are made by leading with data, and are focused on understanding how Amazon's products and tools can help build relevant advertising solutions for our customers
• Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients
• Utilize sales CRM to measure progress against pertinent sales activities and opportunities
• Understand and learn about the e-commerce industry and competitive environment, including competitor product offerings
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create and execute advertising plans for different types of businesses

A day in the life
GGS Accelerate Account Executive's are responsible for daily/weekly call and opportunity inputs by customizing Amazon Ads recommendations to help grow an advertisers business on and off of Amazon using in console self-service solutions. This includes having a deep understanding of Amazon Ads reporting, performance metrics, and ability to map back ad revenue to attain quota responsibilities.

About the team
The GGS Accelerate Growth team manages small to medium sized business focusing on both growing and activating advertisers across our product suite. AEs partner with Ad Success teams, Seller/Vendor teams and on occasion product teams to deliver new or existing solutions.

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years of selling advertising or advertising-like services experience
- Experience using analytical, marketing, and productivity tools including Oracle Business Intelligence, Salesforce or other CRM tools, Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft SharePoint
- Bachelor's degree or above

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of selling advertising or advertising-like services experience
- Experience building new customer relationships
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Experience in marketing, brand advertising, media sales or online advertising work and close work with senior advertisers and agency stakeholders
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
