Amazon is seeking a highly capable, self-directed and experienced individual to join our Prime Video Device and AI Partnerships team as Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will lead partnerships and deal negotiation with global Prime Video partners to help us drive growth through our 3rd party partnerships. As a member of the global business development team, you will own key global partnerships and strategic alliances that drive Amazon's interests. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and efficiently negotiating, launching, managing and renewing deal terms with strategic partners. Internally, you will work with functions that cut across the Prime Video organization including marketing, product, engineering, finance, legal and customer service, to drive great customer experience for our partners.

The ideal candidate has solid business judgment, deep interest in and understanding of technology, proven deal-making capabilities, and exceptional relationship management skills at the executive level. The role will require expertise both in internal team project management as well as working with leaders at major external organizations to strengthen partner relations and obsess over customer experience.


Key job responsibilities
• Lead deal negotiations with strategic device partners, including working alongside Legal, Finance, and Tech teams on deal structure and key terms
• Act as relationship owner for partners, developing comprehensive partnership strategies and maintaining executive relationships
• Work closely with the Partner Growth and Technical Partnerships teams to define the strategic partner roadmap, identify critical technical and product integrations, and deliver a plan to optimize success
• Lead and/or support cross-functional efforts across Product, Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams to identify and execute on strategic initiatives
• Work across teams to manage and scale process improvements
• Drive "Think Big" strategies to identify next-generation technology opportunities

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Experience delivering results by partnering with and influencing others
- Previous experience at a device manufacturer, entertainment company, or streaming service
- Track record of performance excellence

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
