Own the global strategic relationship with a major multinational life sciences customer, setting the account direction and driving cloud adoption across global operations. Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and VP stakeholders, translating business priorities into cloud-enabled solutions. Develop and execute multi-year plans to accelerate cloud, AI/ML, data, and security capabilities, leading cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes across drug discovery to commercial operations. Identify new opportunities, manage a strong pipeline, and influence product roadmaps through the voice of the customer.
As a Global Account Manager focused on Life Sciences, you will own the relationship with a major multinational customer — setting the strategic direction, building C-suite partnerships, and driving cloud adoption across their global operations. You will be helping a global organization accelerate drug discovery, streamline clinical development, and unlock the power of AI and data across the full life sciences value chain.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the global strategic relationship with a major multinational life sciences customer, serving as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders and the overall account strategy
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships at the C-suite and VP level, understanding the customer's business priorities and translating them into cloud-enabled solutions
- Develop and execute a multi-year account plan that drives adoption of cloud, AI/ML, data, and security capabilities across the customer's global operations
- Lead a cross-functional team of specialists, architects, and industry experts to deliver against customer outcomes — from drug discovery and clinical development through to commercial operations
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the customer's global business units and geographies, managing a healthy pipeline and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Partner with life sciences industry specialists to bring relevant, compliant, and innovative solutions aligned to the customer's regulatory and digital transformation priorities
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, influencing product and service roadmaps based on real customer needs
- Lead key engagement moments including executive briefings, business reviews, and industry events
- Forecast accurately and maintain visibility across the account team using CRM and pipeline management tools
A day in the life
No two days look the same in this role, but every day is anchored in one goal: helping a global life sciences company move faster and smarter with cloud technology.
You might start the morning preparing for an executive business review with the customer's Chief Digital Officer, then shift to an internal session with your solutions and industry specialist colleagues to align on a drug discovery AI initiative. Afternoons could involve working through a complex commercial deal with your finance and operations partners, or joining a call with the customer's regional teams in the US or Asia to progress a new workload migration.
Your customers are senior business and technology leaders within a major multinational life sciences company — people solving real problems across drug discovery, clinical development, and commercial operations. The challenges you'll help them tackle range from accelerating R&D timelines and managing regulatory complexity to modernizing data infrastructure and scaling AI across the enterprise.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions- Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
- Experience selling into or working for large companies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling cloud, AI/ML, or data solutions to global life sciences enterprises- Knowledge of life sciences industry dynamics, including drug discovery, clinical development, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, GDPR)
- Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization to deliver complex customer outcomes
