Amazon AWS is seeking a motivated sales professional to support and grow a strategic, global Industrial & Manufacturing customer relationship. The Global Account Representative (GAR) will execute against an account strategy, build relationships with Director and VP-level stakeholders, and drive AWS solution adoption across IT/Digital, LoB, and Operations teams. The role is an individual contributor focused on pipeline development, opportunity execution, and customer engagement within a defined account scope, collaborating with Solution Architects, Industry Specialists, Partners, and Support teams to deliver business outcomes. Responsibilities include managing Salesforce pipeline, negotiating commercial terms (including Private Pricing Addendums), and translating customer challenges into AWS capabilities.
The Global Account Representative (GAR) will work closely with the account team to build relationships, support the articulation of AWS value, and help deliver business outcomes for the customer. The successful GAR will execute against a defined account strategy to earn customer trust and support AWS solution and service adoption across the customer's IT/Digital, Line of Business (LoB), and Operations teams. The GAR will collaborate with AWS resources (Solution Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, Industry Specialists, Marketing, Partners, Support, and Service Teams) to help deliver customer outcomes. This is an Individual Contributor role focused on pipeline development, opportunity execution, and customer engagement within a defined account scope.
Key job responsibilities
Contribute to an AWS customer account team, executing against the account plan under the guidance of account leadership. Build and maintain relationships with Director and VP-level stakeholders across IT, Digital, and Line of Business functions.
Collaborate with internal AWS teams — including solution architects, industry specialists, partners, and enterprise support — to deliver the best solutions for customers. Support business reviews, customer relationship plans, and overall customer satisfaction.
Communicate professionally via email, phone, and in-person meetings; prepare and deliver customer-facing presentations and business review materials.
Manage an assigned sales pipeline in Salesforce, tracking opportunity progress and facilitating key deal stages with account team support. Participate in negotiating and closing commercial agreements, including Private Pricing Addendums (PPAs), under senior leadership guidance.
Maintain broad knowledge of AWS solutions and services, connecting customer business challenges to relevant AWS capabilities. Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to inform product and solution requirements.
Collaborate with marketing and the account team to develop customer references, case studies, and success stories.

Engage customer stakeholders via email, phone, and in-person meetings. Update and manage sales pipeline opportunities in Salesforce. Collaborate with solution architects, specialists, and partners on customer solutions. Support preparation of presentations and business review materials
Build and maintain relationships with Director and VP-level contacts. Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams. Participate in account team syncs and planning sessions. Track progress on commercial agreements (e.g., PPAs). Stay current on AWS services and connect them to customer needs.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience- 3+ years managing a sales pipeline, building relationships with mid-to-senior level stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience in a technology sales, account management, or business development role, with demonstrated success in managing customer relationships and contributing to revenue growth
- Experience working with or selling cloud, software, or infrastructure solutions is expected

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
