Lead Operations and Strategy for AGS NAMER Tech Sales Operations across AWS's Global Sales. Partner with AWS leadership to shape transformational growth strategies, with a focus on architecture, GenAI, and integrating services to meet customer needs. Develop data-driven insights, design new sales motions and growth initiatives, and provide comprehensive analyses to inform business decisions. Collaborate across functions and with data science teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

In this role, you will be responsible for Operations and Strategy for AGS’s Namer Field Tech Sales Operations organization across its ~$50Bn Global Sales (AGS) business. You will partner directly with AWS's Head of Global Field tech Ops and strategy leader and the Tech leadership team to shape and create transformational growth strategies. You lean towards the technical, you love going deep on architecture, GenAI, and how to bring services together to meet our customer’s needs. Your scope will include developing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions, designing and implementing new sales motions and growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate listens first and brings humility to conversations with senior AWS Leaders and the senior leadership of our customers. They collaborate effectively, working with a small team on big things. The candidate knows when and where to advocate vigorously for a well-informed position. We expect anyone considering the position to possess keen business and financial acumen, but we are looking for candidates that can identify and incorporate the brilliant insights of others, while selflessly sharing their own.

• Architect Tech GTM strategies for AGS NAMER tech
• Cascade strategies to NAMER areas, supporting local adaptation as needed
• Partner across other functions within AWS to ensure our strategies align
• Develop relationships with internal and external senior leaders across AWS to gain and share strategic insights
• Work with data science teams to develop comprehensive data analyses
• Provide comprehensive analysis and recommendations for business decisions

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of sales operations or sales strategy in a mid-to-large-scale tech company experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in sales operations or sales strategy in a mid-to-large-scale tech company
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Experience in multiple organizational functions such as compensation, forecasting, organizational development or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing and implementing systems and tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, sales force automation or equivalent
- Experience with program management spanning planning, execution and project delivery
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Master's degree or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
