Senior Account Manager will drive growth and establish Amazon Web Services as a key cloud technology provider within Austria's Public Sector (Core Government, Healthcare, Education and government-linked companies). You will engage with C-level and IT leaders, develop and execute a territory plan, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AWS solutions and value. The role focuses on understanding public sector requirements, driving adoption of AWS services, and building a robust ecosystem with partners. Fluency in German and English and a strong public sector network are essential.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your primary responsibility will be to establish Amazon Web Services as a key cloud technology provider within the Public Sector Austria and includes Core Government, Healthcare, Education and Government linked companies. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of Public Sector and technical knowledge that enables them to engage with C-level, IT leaders and various Public Sector Organizations. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

Are you a seasoned Public Sector sales professional with a proven track record of developing business across Austria? Do you have a keen business acumen and technical expertise to help establish AWS as a critical technology platform and strategic business partner for Public Sector Organizations?

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Client and Partner executives
- Understand the technical and business requirements of Public Sector customers and position AWS as the preferred cloud platform
- Drive the adoption of AWS services and solutions to address customer needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, solutions architecture, and professional services teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Work closely with the Partner team to ensure a robust AWS ecosystem is engaged to support the customers key business priorities
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

Key Basic Requirements:
- Proven experience in handling large Public Sector Projects in Austria
- 10 years in Sales Account position
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong customer network
- Cloud experience
