Growth-oriented Client Partner/Business Development Manager to drive new business and expand Capgemini's footprint within a major APAC banking client. This hunter role sits on an account team, inheriting an existing book of business to land and scale, while driving pipeline, strategic planning, and cross-service delivery. You will engage CXOs, shape opportunities, develop proposals, and collaborate with Capgemini service lines and global centers to deliver integrated solutions with P&L responsibility for your portfolio.

Your Role

We are seeking a growth-oriented Client Partner/ Business Development Manager to drive new business and expand existing business across one of our largest Big 4 banking clients in the APAC region. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth across the bank, helping to reposition Capgemini as a leading Business and Technology Transformation Partner. You’ll collaborate with senior client stakeholders, ideate innovative solutions and shape opportunities that deliver lasting impact for both the client and Capgemini. This is a hunter role with a twist: you will be part of an Account team and inherit an existing book of business to provide a smooth landing, and your mandate is to scale it significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive pipeline creation and conversion to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and grow Capgemini’s footprint within key banking divisions by establishing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Ability to engage and build relationship with business and technology CXO’s
  • Drive proactive sales activities to meet and exceed business objectives.
  • Lead strategic planning for your focus areas, ensuring alignment with overall account goals.
  • Build account intelligence to uncover and shape new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Capgemini service lines and partners to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Develop compelling proposals, pricing, and POVs for both proactive opportunities and formal procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with Global CoE’s like Data, Cloud & Infra, Fraud, Risk & Compliance to secure and deliver on deals.
  • Hold P&L responsibility for your assigned division, business area, or portfolio.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Client Partner in Financial Services.
  • Deep knowledge of Banking & Financial Services
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business, exceeding sales targets and driving client growth.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes.
  • Confident communicator and presenter with executive-level influence.
  • Self-driven, curious, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Skilled in proposal development, storytelling, and slideware creation.
  • Understanding of global delivery models and methodologies.
