Capgemini is seeking a Director/Sr Director level ServiceNow Solutioner to lead pre-sales efforts within the COE - DCX Practice. As a trusted advisor to customers, you will understand business challenges, design tailored ServiceNow solutions, and drive adoption through presentations, demos, and proofs-of-concept in collaboration with the sales team. You will write technical and functional responses, estimate project effort (FTE/Man-Days), and manage follow-ups while shaping solution strategy and thought leadership. You will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to stay current with ServiceNow releases and market needs.
The Opportunity
Capgemini is seeking a Director/Sr Director level executive for an experienced ServiceNow Solution to join our solutioning team within the COE - DCX (Digital Customer experience) Practice. As a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant (also known as a 'Solutioning') for ServiceNow, you act as a trusted advisor to prospective and existing customers. Your role is to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how ServiceNow’s platform and solutions can address those needs. You work closely with the sales team to drive adoption and value realization through compelling solution presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
- Customer Engagement
- Partner with account executives to understand customer needs and define solution strategies.
- Conduct discovery sessions to uncover business and technical requirements.
- Present tailored ServiceNow solutions that align with customer goals.
- Solution Design & Demonstration:
- Write the technical and functional response, take charge of the follow-up of the responses and reminders
- Estimate the global workload for the project (Estimation of the FTE / Man Days for delivering the project)
- Identify the interlocutors according to the service sought, analyze and identify the issues expressed and not expressed
- Have communication and presentation skills to present solutions in a clear and concise manner to customers and have the ability to conduct demonstrations of ServiceNow.
Additional Responsibilities
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-value (POV) engagements.
- Create and maintain demo environments and custom scripts to showcase platform capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using the Now Platform.
- Thought Leadership:
- Stay current on ServiceNow product releases and industry trends.
- Provide input into product development based on customer feedback and market needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert in one or more ServiceNow product areas (e.g., ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, App Engine).
Collaboration & Enablement:
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Work closely with the sales and delivery teams to collect the necessary information for responses.
- Support marketing events such as webinars, trade shows, and user groups.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Ideal Candidate
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales role.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, and digital transformation.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow certifications& accreditations (e.g., CSA, CIS in specific modules).
- Experience in verticals such as Manufacturing, Financial Services, or Public Sector.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript preferred) and web technologies (REST, SOAP, HTML).
