Fortinet is seeking a Business Development Specialist in Tokyo to engage inbound leads, perform outbound outreach, and book meetings for regional Account Managers. The role involves qualifying leads, targeting contacts in key companies, and tracking activity in Salesforce to build the sales pipeline. The candidate should be goal-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, with strong communication and time management skills; a BS in business or marketing is preferred and experience in inside sales or account management is a plus.

As a Business Development Specialist, you will:

  • Call and/or email all inbound leads in your region to engage, qualify, and book meetings for your regional Account Manager(s).
  • Outbound call and email to identify, engage, qualify, and book meetings with target contacts in target companies.
  • Track all activity through Salesforce.com including number and amount of pipelines made through the meetings created by BDR.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Ideal candidate has interest or experience with technology sales.
  • Experience in Inside Sales and Account Management is preferred.
