In this role, you will drive direct sales into a territory of commercial accounts. Working alongside a Regional Account Manager you will be directly responsible for driving existing and incremental revenues within a defined revenue threshold. You will achieve this by developing executive relationships with key buyers and influencers over the phone within the accounts, while also mirroring this activity with our key partner accounts.

 

This role is predominantly office based.

 

As a Team Lead of the Explorer Channel Team, you will

 

  • As team lead, you will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of your employees in the Explorer Channel Team Germany

  • As team lead of the Explorer Channel Team, you will report to the Channel Management Team Germany.

  • As a member of the channel management team, you will work on developing team standards, divisional strategy, and organization, and you will be involved in planning and implementing projects in the German cybersecurity market.

  • Your focus will be on organization and active sales support in the Channel Partner Team Explorer.

  • In addition to design and planning, you will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring sales measures, thereby ensuring business continuity and pipeline generation.

  • Operational involvement and strategic development of specialist retail partners together with your Explorer team

  • Cooperative management style and regular exchange – across departmental boundaries as a true team player

  • Monitoring and controlling sales figures as well as the sales activities of specialist retail partners are among your core activities.

 

We Are Looking For

  • You have relevant professional experience in the field of cybersecurity and channel management, as well as experience in leading teams and developing employees.

  • You impress with your strong leadership experience coupled with your decisiveness and excellent conceptual and analytical skills.

  • You have experience in leading a team (ideally in cybersecurity or channel) to motivate, develop, and successfully manage it.

  • Proven experience in the cybersecurity market and application of common project and sales models.

  • Highly solution-oriented combined with negotiating skills, assertiveness, and openness to technological innovations.

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, network, and IT security solutions (e.g., Sophos, WatchGuard, Cisco, Palo Alto, AWS).

  • You have experience and certifications in Fortinet (or comparable).

  • As a skilled communicator, you will use your abilities both internally within and in exchange with the business units, as well as externally in dealing with customers and in sales-related activities.

  • Your empathy and leadership skills will help you to lead a team both professionally and personally, and to optimally deploy and develop employees.

  • You are keen to play an active role in shaping company processes and projects, as well as our cross-departmental cooperation – both professionally and personally.

  • Excellent German and English language skills, a driver's license, and willingness to travel round out your profile.
