Overview

We're looking for a Sales Development Manager to develop and lead our fantastic Sales Development team in the GitHub EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering the best experience to our customers and developing a team of entry level sales professionals


Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of outbound Sales Development Representatives to exceed new pipeline targets within the assigned territory

  • Provide leadership, development, and training to the Sales Development team

  • Hire, onboard, retain, and promote amazing talent

  • Prospecting strategy: help design and drive prospecting strategies within assigned territory, collaborating with cross-functional partners to execute pipeline building sprints and other prospecting strategies.

  • Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators for a team of Outbound Sales Development Representatives

  • Stakeholder management: Work collaboratively with cross functional partners, such as marketing, sales analytics, sales operations, and marketing operations, to optimize systems and workflows for peak output within the Sales Development organization

  • Operations: Continuously optimize Sales Development processes, leveraging feedback from customers, prospects, Sales Dev reps, field reps, and internal partners


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in business development or sales

    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business development or sales

    • OR equivalent experience

  • Based in The Netherlands with the ability to be on-site in our Amsterdam office Wednesdays and Thursdays

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in business development or sales

    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business development or sales

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years experience in computer science, software development, technology, or a related domain.
