Role Overview

The Head of FX Sales, Singapore, leads the commercial and revenue strategy for LSEG’s FX and workflow solutions within the Singapore market. This senior leadership position will drive the execution of regional APAC strategies, develop deep client relationships, ensure regulatory engagement, and lead all aspects of a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will possess extensive FX market knowledge, a robust senior-level network, anda consistent track record of sales leadership, with a commitment to LSEG’s values and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Revenue Leadership

Own and deliver the Singapore revenue plan across FX products

Translate APAC strategy into actionable market execution for Singapore, ensuring alignment with regional sales priorities .

Actively participate in major sales and renewal cycles, providing senior leadership and support on large, strategic deals .

Optimise territory strategy to maximise client retention, market penetration, and sales efficiency.

Client Relationship Management : Maintain and expand senior-level relationships across global FX banks, regional banks, and hedge funds.

Map client strategies and position LSEG solutions to address evolving clients' needs and competitive landscape, and changing workflow pressures.

Strengthen client engagement and increase wallet share through targeted account strategies and teams oriented engagement across businesses.

Regulatory & Central Bank Engagement

Represent LSEG in strategic dialogues with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other central banks.

Support regulatory consultations, market structure topics, and licensing matters as required.

Provide thought leadership in discussions impacting electronic FX trading, NDF clearing, transaction reporting, and future market developments.

Sales Excellence, Data-Driven Management & Forecasting

Drive planning and execution of account plans, customer value propositions (CVPs), quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and regular pipeline reviews.

Utilise a data-driven approach to performance, mentoring the team using insights from analytics, conversion metrics, and account health indicators.

Ensure timely forecasting prcoess and accuracy in CRM and reporting.

Serve as a trusted source of compliance guidance, continuously establishing excellence in sales process execution.

Go to Market Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership

Lead Singapore’s go-to-market execution, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, Account Management, Technology, and Onboarding teams.

Identify growth pockets and emerging opportunities, enabling the team to capitalise on market trends.

Support the rollout of regional and global sales initiatives, ensuring alignment and measurable outcomes.

Proactively collaborate internally to remove blockers to deal execution.

People Leadership & Team Development

Lead, motivate, and inspire the Singapore Sales team to achieve high performance.

Responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching, and career development, ensuring continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Champion an environment that reflects LSEG’s core values: Connect, Deliver Excellence, Create Opportunity.

Build succession pipelines and elevate talent through structured mentoring and capability building.

Governance, Risk & Reporting

Maintain strong governance around deal execution, contractual risk, compliance, and conduct standards.

Proactively identify and call out potential risks, client issues, and operational bottlenecks to the right collaborators in a timely manner.

Prepare Singapore market insights and performance updates for APAC leadership.

Required Experience & Skills

Commercial & Market Expertise: Demonstrated success of minimum 12 years in FX sales, electronic trading, liquidity management, or market infrastructure.

Deep understanding of electronic trading workflows, pricing models, and liquidity dynamics.

Strong familiarity with MAS regulations and the APAC FX market structure.

Relationship Network: Established senior-level network in global FX banks, regional/ASEAN banks, macro hedge funds, and buy-side institutions.

Validated ability to influence and secure broad scope, multi-stakeholder deals.

Leadership & Execution: Shown success in leading high-performing sales teams.

Data‑driven leadership style with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Strategic approach with a good sense to translate regional objectives into market-level results.

Excellent communication, and strong people leadership ability in collaboration and strategic discussion

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.

Deep understanding FX, NDFs, market data, FX trading platforms, workflow automation, or post-trade infrastructure.

Strong cross-cultural and cross-market experience across APAC.
